Suraj is a sought-after dynamic and collaborative DevOps Engineering Practitioner with enterprise big data, real-time application monitoring and tools development experience, spanning over a decade in large-scale financial services technology. He is a specialist in continuous integration, deployment, and operational management of both cloud and on-premises application environments with our software. Most recently Suraj has also been working closely with a UK Government agency on business process automation and analysis.
Career highlights include:
• Guest speaker at the ITRS Global Tech Fest (Singapore, Paris and London) in 2015, presenting advances in real-time application monitoring for distributed calculation grids.
• Realised a DevOps operating model, utilising core Agile & Scrum principles delivering a set of operating paradigms supporting a fast-paced front office data analytics function for a Tier 1 investment bank. Implemented various technology solutions including one-click database deployment solutions, full CI/CD integration of Tableau with Git & DevOps pipelines and a platform monitoring suite for real-time diagnosis of system problems.
• Implemented a Site Reliability Engineering capability for Treasury Technology at Deutsche Bank. Implemented industry best practices for continuous integration and deployment for a suite of data management platforms, spanning both legacy and modern system architectures.
• Vice President within Risk Technology at Credit Suisse, responsible for operational management, application & infrastructure monitoring, tools development deployment automation for the core market risk platform. Suraj designed and developed a wide range of tools including Data Analysis tools, one-click deployment tools and a push notification-based alerting framework and a client library suite utilising Apache Kafka for real-time application alerts and statistics.
